What Crestis Media Acquires
Genres We Prioritize
Horror, thriller, action, and documentary. These are the genres with the strongest AVOD/FAST platform demand and the best international territory sales records. We also review strong narrative films in other genres if the chain of title is clean.
Must-Haves
A film we can actually distribute: completed chain of title, music clearances for every piece of music, work-for-hire agreements from key crew, and a digital master at 1080p or better with separable M&E audio tracks. We cannot acquire a film we cannot distribute.
Acquisition Price Reality
We price acquisitions against the film's distribution value, not its production cost. We will show our work and explain our offer, but the offer is based on documented revenue potential.
What We Do NOT Acquire
Films with active distribution agreements, undisclosed music clearance problems, missing M&E tracks with no prospect of recreation, active investor disputes, or litigation involving the film.

What Happens After Submission

Within 10 business days, we review the submission against our acquisition pre-screening checklist.

If the film passes pre-screening, we request a screener and apply our six-criterion acquisition scoring matrix.
- 03
If the film scores 50 or above, we commission paid due diligence (chain of title review, title report, script clearance). We pay for this.
- 04
If due diligence clears, we make an offer based on documented revenue potential, not production cost. We explain the math.
- 05
If both parties agree, we execute a written acquisition agreement. Final payment is upon delivery of all deliverables.
